Investors are bouncing around like so many pinballs in a race to find safe-haven investments against the threat of a United States government default. Bucking conventional wisdom, here’s what I propose in this high-stakes financial game…

The only reason I can think of to invest in these companies is if you’re heading for divorce and you don’t want your ex-spouse to have the money. Aside from that… save your cash. Or better yet, bet against them next year.
