As the economy continues to grapple with rising interest rates, inflation and economic uncertainties, the importance of valuation and margin of safety is critical. Consequently, today I’m offering a high-level overview of five companies that pay a decent and growing dividend that’s well-covered by cash flows. But most importantly, they offer the risk-averse investor a margin of safety and great value.

In the second installment of this series, I will be sharing the process that I utilize to find stocks that appropriately meet the goals and objectives of the investment policy statement I’ve established.

In this video, I am going to share a process that I like to use to select stocks that meet specific criteria. Importantly, it is the process that I am focusing on and not the individual stocks.

Although I do not believe in just blindly following the Dogs of the Dow strategy, I have always liked it as a starting point for dividend growth investing.
