Stocks come in all sizes, shapes, and flavors. Nothing could illustrate that better than the 31 stocks you asked to see last week. They range from highly speculative, extremely high (sucker) dividend yields, high growth, and wildly cyclical. Statistically many of them look attractive, but further examination exposes there are many flaws.

The real lesson that this video provides is just how different common stocks can be. Unfortunately, most investors only have the perspective of seeing stocks based on their price or statistics.

It is not until you see the business correlated with the long-term stock movements that real insight is gained. True investing success is predicated on investing with your eyes wide open. In the long run, the business results are much more important than the price volatility.
