  • Prudential Financial (PRU) announced an annual dividend for 2012 of $1.60 per share of Common Stock, payable on December 14 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 20. The dividend represents an increase of 10% from the 2011 Common Stock dividend and is the highest ever paid by the company.
  • Aaron’s (AAN) announced a quarterly dividend increase of 13.3%. The $.017 per share dividend, up from $.015, is payable January 4 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 3.

This increase indicates an annualized rate of $2.00 per share and a yield of approximately 4.1% based on the $49.32 closing price on November 5.
  • Perrigo (PRGO) announced a dividend increase to $.09 per share, payable on December 17, to shareholders of record on November 29. Perrigo’s last quarterly dividend, paid on September 18, was for $.08 per share.
